1961: The Trønderplast Company was established.
1966: Mr. David Engan bought the Company Trønderplast AS in Norway.
1975: Production of rainwear and tents; the company team started to use their skills in furniture manufacturing.
1985: The company started the development and production of complicated styles for marksman competitions.
1989: The company changed its name from Trønderplast AS to Protex AS.
1992: Protex AS received an IT award for its method of putting new technology into use.
1994: The company started manufacturing in the Baltic States.
2007: Astra AS in Hummuli, Estonia was bought.
2008: One more department in Pärnu, Estonia, was established.
2010: The company started cooperating with a footwear manufacturer in Estonia. Protex AS signed a contract with the Norwegian Army and Police for the delivery of military boots.
2011: Astra AS changed its name to AS Protex Balti and established a new company group structure with Protex AS as the parent company.
2011: AS Protex Balti had changed office address in Pärnu and bought production unit in Tallinn.
